  • Yes, all vendors are required to upload proof of โ€˜businessโ€™ or โ€˜event dayโ€™ insurance within the Vendor.App

  • Vendor.App is entirely FREE and is a web-based App which means you can use it on a desktop or download it to your mobile home screen.

  • What sets up apart from other organizations is our beautiful crafted Vendor Tables.

    All vendors are required to use these tables at our market.

    The cost to use, set up and tear down these tables have already been worked into your venue fee.

    No additional payment needs to be made. All you have to do is bring your products to set-up and sell :)

    There is plenty of room to store extra merchandise, wagons and stools under the table.

  • Vendors must bring their own chair or stool. Camping chairs are NOT permitted.

  • Pop-up banners are not permitted in most retail spaces. The business logo you upload to the Vendor.App will be printed and added to our custom Vendor Market Signs that will be displayed/hung from our Vendor Tables at each market. Please ensure the logo you upload is a 10X10 high resolution logo. (PDF preferred)

  • Tables: Vendors must use the tables provided. No additional tables will be permitted onsite. If you wish to make a special request please send an email to applications@buildingcommunityinc.com for your request to be considered.

    Racks: Please contact us to discuss any racks you wish to bring on site. Please email a photo to applications@buildingcommunityinc.com for your request to be considered.

    Shelves: Any shelves onsite must be pre-approved. Please email a photo to applications@buildingcommunityinc.com for your request to be considered.

  • Submitting sales information is a requirement of all businesses selling on their property. It is contractually required in order for us to set up a market. Building Community Inc. does not retain this information once it has been submitted to the venue.  Our onsite coordinator will collect your sales numbers verbally at the end of each market day so no preparation of a report is required from you. 

  • All venues have overnight security, but we do recommend packing up any valuables. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen goods. Most vendors pack up merchandise and will leave larger displays.

  • We recommend vendors bring a small generator, battery powered lights or portable phone chargers as we cannot always guarantee access to power at every venue. If your product specifically requires power, such as food, or engraving please cemail us at applications@buildingcommunityinc.com to discuss your specific needs.

  • Our Vendor.App is programmed to only allow 3 category types per market. Even with this precaution in place there will be cross-over from time to time. If you join our market you knowingly are accepting the risk of cross over product categories.

    If you have a specific concern please contact our applications team at applications@buildingcommunityinc.com to assist you further.

  • Food: Vendors will need to show proof that they follow all Ontario Food Safety Laws and Requirements and have their Food Handlers Certificate.

    A copy of your report could be requested by Public Health. Failing to provide the certificate upon request could result in a fine from Public Health against your business.

    Skincare: All cosmetics sold in Canada must be safe to use and must not pose any health risk. They must meet the requirements of the Food and Drugs Act and the Cosmetic Regulations and use Cosmetic Notification Forms.
